Mark Noble

He is an English football player. He plays as a midfielder.

Mark James Noble (born May 8, 1987 in Canning Town, London) is a professional football player who currently plays for West Ham United. His nickname is "Nobes".
Noble joined West Ham as a schoolboy and became the youngest player ever to appear in the reserve team, aged 15. He began a trainee in July 2003 and made his debut in the senior team at the age of just seventeen in the League Cup in August 2004 in a 2-0 win against Southend. He made his league debut in the Championship in January 2005, in a 4-2 defeat away at Wolves.
Upon West Ham's return to the Premiership he featured in games against Tottenham and Manchester United among others. He was subsequently loaned to Hull City where he made five appearances but was sent back after suffering an injury to his lower back.
Mark signed a three month loan with Ipswich Town in August 2006 in the hope of gaining necessary first team experience. Whilst there he played 12(1) games in the Championship, and scored his first professional goal on 12-09-2006 in a 2-1 home win over Coventry. After completing the successful spell at Ipswich, several Championship teams showed an interest in signing Mark on loan for another period, but chose instead to remain with West Ham with the hope of breaking into the West Ham first team and has featured occasionally since then.
He scored his first goal for West Ham, a 3-0 win at home against Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2007 in the 3rd round of the FA Cup in which he was also awarded the Man of the Match award.
On 4th March 2007, he scored his first Premiership goal against Tottenham Hotspur at Upton Park in a game West Ham eventually lost 4-3 in the final seconds, prompting tears from the young player (the third such event in the Premiership that season after Lee Cattermole also burst into tears after the final whistle for Middlesbrough and Yossi Benayoun also burst into tears after the equalizer Fulham scored in the dying seconds of the game).
On the 5th of May 2007, Mark recorded his second goal of the season with a spectacular volley from a Carlos Tevez cross in their 3-1 win over Bolton Wanderers, putting them outside the relegation zone for the first time in 5 months.
In May 2007, Mark Noble won two KUMB (Knees Up Mother Brown) awards for the 2006/07 season voted by the fanzine website users. Mark Noble was their overwhelming choice for Young Player of the Year. Mark also won this award in the 2004/05 season. Noble won this with 99% of the votes. He also took the Goal of the Season award for his thunderous volley in the 3-1 win against Bolton last month.
Noble captained the England U-18 team. Noble was a member of the England team that beat Serbia and Montenegro 3-1 in the 2005 UEFA European Under-19 Championship semi-finals, although they subsequently lost the final to France. Noble made his debut for the England U-21 team on 11 June 2007, coming on as substitute in the 82 minute for Tom Huddlestone in England's 0-0 draw with the Czech Republic during the European under-21 Championships in Holland. Noble also played a full game for the England U21's in the semi-finals in which they lost 13-12 to Holland on penalties.
