Diego Ribas  Diego Ribas Brazillian Footballer playing at Werder Bremen. He is awarded the Bundesliga Player of the Season. In May, 2006, Diego Ribas da Cunha signed a contract with Werder Bremen until 2010.His first performance for Werder Bremen came in the Premiere Ligapokal Cup. Werder Bremen won the title beating FC Bayern Munich in the finals on August 5. The 2006/2007 Bundesliga season began wonderfully for Diego. He scored the first goal and set up two more for Bremen in the 4-2 win over Hannover 96, on 13th August.As the Bundesliga season went on, Diego made several amazing performances and became one of the most valuable players for Werder Bremen and Bundesliga. Interest from Real Madrid was reported in late April. But Werder Bremen's manager Klaus Allofs said that they won't be listening to any offers for the Brazilian. Also there have been allegations of an interest from Barcelona to have the Brazilian but nothing is confirmed.
